Redeemed, Recovered, Restored

Dear Friends in Recovery, I have been absent from your fellowship for almost a month. My wife and I have moved to Utah. We moved here primarily because The Lord lead us out here. Economic factors, the reduction in my hours where I worked and the fact that my job could not be done without my resorting to taking excedrin to excess, 5 hour energy, monster energy drilnk and mountain dew just to stay awake behind the wheel.... I needed a change.
We knelt together in companion prayer, I prayed in private and asked the Lord for His help. I also know myself enough to know that when I am sleep deprived I become vulnerable to that old monster called Pornography.

Alcoholic's Anonymous give their members a coin after a period of 1 or more years of soberity. My Temple Recommend is my coin. Since moving here I have not had to resort to taking those "over the counter" sitmulants. I have a higher paying job and I have attended my first AR Recovery meeting. As soon as I meet with our new Bishop I will ask him for an application to become a facilitator. They are in short supply out here. This is all part of step 12.

On final note, My Patriarchal Blessing states that I will have the ability to reach into the hearts of people as I work with them throughout my life. I could not do that until I had found the marvelous Redemptive Power of My Savior Jesus Christ. It was He that reached into the depths of my stony heart and redeemed me, showed me how all of us are in a state of Recovery and that only through him we can be Restored and brought back into His Presence.

Some of you remember me as Migail. My new name is 3R"s.

Welcome Back Mig!!!
"We missed you... So glad to hear you are finding the blessings you Father in Heaven is desperately waiting to give to you. You will be a wonderful asset to any group. I think he needed you there. My blessing also states that I will bring many to the gospel by my ability to express my experiences. This is not what I had in mind, but, I am thankfull as always for His wisdom and giving me the courage to express the wisdom I have received from His hand.
Love to you and yours!"

"Are you battling a demon of addiction—tobacco or drugs, or the pernicious contemporary plague of ography? Whatever other steps you may need to take to resolve these concerns, come first to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Trust in heaven’s promises. In that regard Alma's testimony is my testimony: "I do know," he says, "that whosoever shall put their trust in God shall be supported in their trials, and their troubles, and their afflictions."
