I just joined this site, and I can't find a section for spouse support. Do I just post under s~xual addiction? Or is there a category for spouses? I need help TODAY, as my marriage is crumbling and I am devastated. Please, someone respond to this post.

"If you look at the bottom of your blog, it gives options of where you want it to show. You can also choose a "home" page for Sposes when you log in."

We love you and you are not alone
"I feel your desparation and every spouse on this site feels it, we all know it. Please continue to fall to you knees and ask Heavenly Father to comfort you and lead you to the truth. He loves you and although you may not feel him near, he is right beside you, helping you every step of the way.

When you signd up it should have asked if you were a loved one or an addict. Hit the Help botton at the top and ask Derick what to do.

In the meantime, please email me at the below address. I am happy to point you in the right direction in learning more about your husband's addicion. You are not alone and there is help and We are here for you.

Below is a link for song which a man wrote regarding giving up his sexual/porn addiction to save his family.

"These below videos helped me undersand this addiction and the fact that my husband had this problem long before we ever met.

Start with the link and follow through all 8 videos on youtube. The video is Dr. Douglas Weiss. He is a recovering addict (clean for over 20 years). He devoted his life to helping people overcome this awful addiction, and the nation's # 1 expert on sex addiction. He is very direct. He does not water down this addiction. He is a Christian man and his views do not conflict with our LDS beliefs.

"Please look at the video about "the real story behind Lead me" it is on the right side of the video link you posted. It is a beautiful song and can give great hope to those of us struggling with things in our life, but he did not write it because of a struggle with porn/sex addiction. It is not fair to him or his family to put that out on a public forum when it isn't what his wife or he says. Not trying to cause conflict, which is what he says this song was written about, resolving conflict and realizing, wanting and desiring to become the spiritual leader of his home. To build a home on a foundation of Jesus Christ."

Anon, clairification he did write it about his addiction
"It may not be listed online, but KLOVE, the Christian radio station's DJ told Matt's story and said that he was traveling alot and away from his family and that Matt said that he had a porn problem. That is when his wife Sarah told him it was time to change and to step up for his family.

Either way it fits many situations.

BTW, Matt and Sarah just brought their baby (Boen) home from the hospital as the baby boy was born with a heart condition. Please remember them in your prayers.

Why I said anything
"The video I am talking about is narrated by his wife and himself. It is right there on the page you posted. I did say the songt fit many situations, but nowhere in the video did he or his wife talk about a porn addiction. I will go what came out of their mouths."

It's not in their video
"Yes I did see the video after you comments . However, when I posted it, it was just after the KLOVE DJ refered to his porn addiction on the radio. I based my comments on what I heard.

Either way, it is a beautiful song and it seems to be an inspiration for addicts and spouses.
