10 days clean

I am happy to report that I now have 10 good clean days on my counter. It feels good. I'm also happy that the temptation seems to be getting less and less. It is still there, but it feels much more controllable. I'm thankful so much to Heavenly Father for answering my prayers.
I'm also happy that I will be home with my beautiful wife and our children in less than a month. My job keeps me out of town a lot, and this trip has been a long one. But it's almost over and it will be the last one for a long time.
I'm happier now than I was two weeks ago. Much happier. There is true happiness to be found in obedience to His commandments. I know that. It is just hard to always act on that knowledge. But prayer, scripture study, meditation, and obedience as an exercise of faith make it much easier.

"You lived with your Heavenly Father in a premortal life. You were there with Him. Your spirit knows what it is like to live in celestial realms. You can never be truly happy in an uncelestial environment. You know too much. That is one of the reasons that for you, wickedness never can be happiness. What a great thing it is to decide once and for all early in life what you will do and what you will not do with regards to honesty, modesty, chastity, the Word of Wisdom, and temple marriage. "
