The first thing preventing me from recieving his will is all the "good" advice of man. The things that make logical sense that combine with my natural tendency to overthink.

To overcome this is to counsel with the Lord if things are good to practice from man.

Stumbling #2 is the looks of man, fearing man to the wavering of my values. It is obvious this is a huge issue for me. I desire the respect of others, and this is at the heart of my codepency issues.

To overcome this is to have faith that he lives and that I seek his respect before others

Stumbling #3 is me not humbling myself self-reliance attempting things without consulting first.

To overcome is to ask and have a belief that he will assist me in this area to enjoy his guidance. It is foundational. I will committ to begin praying for the overcoming of these. I will ask for the positive sides, the abilitity to seek his will first and remember to early, to have faith in his respect for me, and to have a reminder to counsel with him about new information that I recieve.

"In recent years, as I have sung the hymns of the Atonement, it has been with an especially full heart—and also with full voice, when I can continue to sing—lines such as “How great thou art,” “I scarce can take it in,” “To rescue a soul so rebellious and proud as mine,” “I stand all amazed,” and “Oh, it is wonderful!”"
