Simple Request?

I was wondering if I could make a request for anyone that reads this. Let me put a little background behind it so it'll make more sense.

I go to a woman's only sexual addiction group. It's the only one in the church and it's struggling. We have missionaries and a facilitator but besides them, I'm pretty much the only one that shows up. We occasionally have maybe one more woman show up but that is rare.

Here's my request. Could anyone that reads this pray for the group to keep going? Could you pray and ask that any woman struggling with this addiction can find the group and get courage to go? We need more women. It's been shut down at least once before and I don't want that to happen again. I also don't want anymore women thinking they are alone. This is truly the path to recovery and I want women to find us so they can overcome this beast.

I know a lot of you have tons on your plate already but I'd really appreciate the gesture. Thanks a ton. You're all so awesome and I love reading the blogs. Have a great day and be good.

"Matrix,

I admire your courage, I pray for you and for everyone here often. I know you do for me as well. I feel the prayers that others offer for me. It helps me to be a stronger Person. I appreciate all the words of encouragement you have given me. I would be honored to pray for your support group. I know what it is like being the only person with a perticular type of addiction. Either people arn't willing to admit they are exibitionists or I am truly the only person with this type of sick desease. Again my prayers are with you and your womens support group.

Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!
"To Scott and all the rest of you who prayed for those women and the group, I thank you with the bottom of my heart. I'm very happy and excited to report that our prayers were answered. Last night at group, two new girls showed up. Two may not seem like a large number for some of you but for us, it was huge. We have had a couple visitors over the past couple months but nothing permanent. These two girls are here to stay as long as possible. One of them was completely new to the program and only came because her boyfriend convinced her to. The other is from out of state and has just recently moved to the area. Both were definitely guided to this group. The spirit was so strong. Thank you so much for the prayers.

I do pray for as many of you by name in my prayers as I can and I hope it helps. It's the least I can do to thank all of you for your prayers for me. Good luck and thanks again."

"I so wish I could've been at group with you! I am so happy to hear that your numbers have double. I will continue to pray for women out there to "come out" so to speak so that the group can flourish and eventually be in place everywhere there are recovery meetings.

Thanks for the thoughtful post. Prayer can do so much!"

"Develop discipline of self so that, more and more, you do not have to decide and redecide what you will do when you are confronted with the same temptation time and time again. You need only to decide some things once. How great a blessing it is to be free of agonizing over and over again regarding a temptation. "
