would love to talk to other LDS posters.

just wanted to say hello.

"i have a rather abusive husband. i chose him to confirm my beliefs that all men want is sex, i'm not worth loving truly, i can't have a temple marriage, and so forth. i know i'm over-simplifying..."

Hello
"Hello Spastic12. I'm a new member of this site as of a couple minutes ago and I, too, am trying to figure out this site. I look forward to getting to know you! I facilitate an ARP meeting each week in Michigan."

Love the name Spaz
"Have not heard spastic in years.
Read on guys this is the palce to learn and learn some more.

Iron sorry you have endured this hell. You are worth it. Just got to believe.
Fake it until you make it if you have to. You can make it.
It is a journey we have to travel now.
As my wife has learned, self matters in this situation (have not read DR Phil - think he is a spaz myself).
As I have learned salvation is an individual thing. Can hope and work for an eternal marriage and family but got to get ourselves there first."

"I need not define your specific problem to help you overcome it. It doesn’t matter what it is. If it violates the commandments of the Lord, it comes from Satan, and the Lord can overcome all of Satan’s influence through your application of righteous principles. Please understand that the way back is not as hard as it seems to you now. Satan wants you to think that it is impossible. That is not true. The Savior gave His life so that you can completely overcome the challenges you face. "
