My Story

Hello Friends. I have been part of the LDSAR community since January of last year. I am so very grateful for all of you that have selflessly shared your experiences, thoughts, insights and feelings. It has helped a great deal in my healing process.

This is hard for me to be this open, but I am taking a leap. With the support and encouragement of my husband, I have started a blog where I shared my story and resources that have been key in my healing. I was very alone when I first discovered my husband's addiction and I am trying to create a resource that I wish I'd had in those first difficult days.

Hope is real. Recovery is real. Thank you for being a great support in my journey.

Keep it up!
"Thank you for sharing your website, Susan. I'm sure it will be helpful to many who think they are all alone."

"We cannot keep one foot in the Church and one foot in the world. One reason is the world and the Church are rapidly diverging. We will lose our balance. We know that "no man can serve two masters." Some, I fear, are attempting to do what President Marion G. Romney described as trying to "serve the Lord without offending the devil." "
