And it wasn't as super bad as I was thinking it would be. I kinda had a hard time voicing my issues, but he reassured me. He talked to me about there being a difference between temptation and addiction. I couldn't really decipher what this happens to be for me. I have my moments where I binge, but I am perfectly capable of going long periods without, which I have done many times before. I explained that to him and he gave me a book called He Restoreth My Soul by Donald L. Hilton Jr. Told me to start reading it and meet back with him.

He also said that coming to him was the best thing I could have done. I mentioned to him that I realized I couldn't do it on my own anymore. I believe that I got that strength from coming here and sharing with you and reading your stories. I don't know how much any of my posts mean to anyone, but if I can touch just one person and help them get the courage they need with my story I am gonna do it. I didn't get this courage on my own. Every day for the past week I have been praying for courage. Did I cry when I talked to him? Heck yes I did! Was it hard? Heck yes it was! But I did it and so can anyone else who is struggling!

I've only just started on this path, and I now it will be hard, but it will be worth it!

You have a great Bishop
"You are a fortunate youn man. And you are Born for War! Please read that book that your bishop gave you it will help you. Another great resourse is a Dvd, Born for War. Dr. D. Weiss. You can get it on the Internet. Great for parents too! And priesthood leaders. Very encouraging, straight forward and empowering.

Sorry
"My previous comment suggested you were a male. So I wanted to clear that up. Recommend to you a great resource for help. She Has a Secret is a book that deals with SA for girls and women. D. Weiss. Is the author. Good luck and keep up the good work. I hope you have found some one you can call when you need support.

"The solution to this problem ultimately is neither governmental nor institutional. Nor is it a question of legality. It is a matter of individual choice and commitment. Agency must be understood. The importance of the will in making crucial choices must be known. Then steps toward relief can follow."
