So my hubs found out that I have still had contact with my former lover, Greg.

I told Greg about this and he feels we shouldn't talk anymore since I told him my husband wants to contact him and his supervisor, and he wants to visit Greg. I hate this, but I suppose it is a blessing in disguise. Going through major withdrawals. Hope I survive.

Husband is going to put monitoring software on my cell and on my computer. This should help.

you're doing great!
"A gal came to meeting tonight and she was the only girl in a room full of dudes. It made me think of you (i think it might have even been you). She said she's been hitting up a ton of meeting. I just thought she was courageous. It seems like it would be easy to make excuses not to go. But there she was. Boom! Keep it up."

Wow.
"I did go to a meeting last night, and I did say something about going to a lot of meetings. Might've been me. My hair was in a bun. Now I am wondering who you are. Cool:)

Ya, that was only my second time going to that meeting."

G1RLIE Sightings
"I am relatively sure I saw G1RLIE at a conference with Harvey F. in Salt Lake last fall. I wasn't going to mention it, but since THEY SPEAK called her out, I figured I might as well too. I think saw her in the group share on a Friday night just before Harvey spoke. There were only two women in the group share. The only reason I think I saw her is because she mentioned the conference in one of her posts, and I sort of know one of the women who was there because she has her own blog.

I guess we're a small club of addicts who attend meetings, especially here along the Wasatch Front. It's also a little unsettling that we may not be as anonymous as we think we are. That being said, I have even more respect for those who choose to post with a username and honestly share their lives with our little community here, especially girls like G1RLIE. You rock!"

"@Ette--Well, I guess I had an Ette sighting :) I have no idea who you are, maybe next time you will say Hi to me? Yep, I was at that conference. Wow. It sounds like you are going through a lot of stuff. I hope you are okay. This sounds like a really hard problem. Ouch. Prayers sent up for you.

@They_Speak--Ha! I wondered if that was you :) Yes, I saw you. Next time, I will say hi to you. For Cool :) Yeah, last time I went to that meeting there were 3 other females. It was cool. Usually, I go to the Saturday morning meeting. I guess that one is my home meeting, but I'll probably see ya again at the Monday meeting. Yay :)"

yeah if it's
"...the Saturday morning one just off 56th (I think) that meeting is the jam! So much sobriety in that room. My sponsor goes to that one a lot. I just always stay up to late Friday night so only go once in awhile even though I tell myself almost every Friday day I'm going to wake up and go :)"

"The excuse is given that it is hard to avoid, that it is right at our fingertips and there is no escape. Suppose a storm is raging and the winds howl and the snow swirls about you. You find yourself unable to stop it. But you can dress properly and seek shelter, and the storm will have no effect upon you. Likewise, even though the Internet is saturated with material, you do not have to watch it. You can retreat to the shelter of the gospel and its teaching of cleanliness and virtue and purity of life.
