I havent blogged here in a while and I forgot my login so i just created a new one. I have improved from the begginning, however, it seems like I am stuck. I cant understand why I am messing up. I am trying to be better and turn to god but I always end up turning to Pornography and masterbation. I really want to stop but its hard when I dont know what im doing wrong.

You can do this
"Hey i was there. I was stuck and wasnt and couldnt do anything else. I have been for a bit. I have found that i need to keep my mind on other things. Always keep busy. Change around your day. Do things alittle different then the normal. Try to never be alone. Be somewhere where people can find you. when you feel you need to get up and leave and move and get out of there. Go talk to someone. Phone someone. Anything to get pass the urge. You can do it."

Also struggling with lust
"How much idle time do you have? You need to get involved in something good and stay busy at it. I struggle the most when I have too much down time.

Really work on what you think about as well."

"Sorry again. when I find out my username/password I'm going to write it down. haha. But I think it has a lot to do with my thoughts. Every girl I see, I check her out. I catch myself doing this without thinking much on it and I tell myself to stop. My thoughts are very powerful at this time in my life and I dont know how to control them. Thanks for the input by the way, You all are great."

Do you need lessons?
"You mention that you are "Messing up." How? Does your seed fly on the sheets? Have a little tissue ready and after that blessed moment comes and goes, you will be ready to do a quick clean up."

Reach out
"Hey man, we've all been there. Do what you can to reach out to people around you. Go to a 12-step meeting in your area, set up appointments with bishop, open up to a friend. Working the 12 steps really helped me to get a hold of my thoughts. It seemed the more I struggled to control them the worse they got, but God has begun to heal me.

I also find it interesting that the anonymous person that has nothing better to do than get on and give false advice to people struggling to do the right thing (3 comments up) was here commenting on valentine's day. When you've got nothing better to do than that on valentine's day, it's time for a big change in how you're living your life. Hope you've got the courage to make it."

"I have come to know that thoughts, like water, will stay on course if we make a place for them to go. Otherwise, our thoughts follow the course of least resistance, always seeking the lower levels. Probably the greatest challenge and the most difficult thing you will face in mortal life is to learn to control your thoughts. In the Bible it says, as a man ‘thinketh in his heart, so is he’ (Prov. 23:7). One who can control his thoughts has conquered himself. As you learn to control your thoughts, you can overcome habits, even degrading personal habits. You can gain courage, conquer fear, and have a happy life. "
