Update after dark summer

Hello everyone,

I wanted just to give you an update I'm doing well after my dark summer where I was very tempted and had a couple slips and loose some hope and I must admit I put my self into the darkness.

But today I can say I had the best 2 months with m self. I never enjoyed such great time, I'm almost happy to be alone in my apparement since I started the program 2 years ago, I try to have spiritual experience each morning and at least once a day gratitude breathing, I think I found my right rhyme.

With my stake president and my bishop we set a goal to have my temple recommendation back end of october and back to temple in November.

Recovery is an hard way and not an easy way.

Of course I can always improve but I tried to be less perfectionism and it's a challenge.

Thanks for your support dear friends

"Lucifer will do all in his power to keep you captive. You are familiar with his strategy. He whispers: “No one will ever know.” “Just one more time.” “You can’t change; you have tried before and failed.” “It’s too late; you’ve gone too far.” Don’t let him discourage you. When you take the path that climbs, that harder path of the Savior, there are rewards along the way. When you do something right, when you resist temptation, when you meet a goal, you will feel very good about it. It is a very different kind of feeling than you have when you violate commandments—an altogether different feeling. It brings a measure of peace and comfort and provides encouragement to press on. "
