Hey guys,

I've been praying and praying for a confirmation as to when I should publish my recovery story on my blog. As most of you know I was planning on waiting until my interview for the church aired on the arp.lds.org but I decided I was hiding behind that. My fear was clouding my faith and it was inhibiting me. So, I'm just going to take the leap and trust God.

I wanted to share my story with you guys... feel free to pass it on as well if you feel it can benefit anyone..

Thank you!

Sidreis

You are an inspiration....
"Sid,

I have no doubt that your story will inspire many, both men and women to begin telling their own stories. We are only as sick as our secrets!!!

"By emulating the Master, who endured temptations but “gave no heed unto them,” we, too, can live in a world filled with temptations “such as [are] common to man”. Of course Jesus noticed the tremendous temptations that came to him, but He did not process and reprocess them. Instead, He rejected them promptly. If we entertain temptations, soon they begin entertaining us! Turning these unwanted lodgers away at the doorstep of the mind is one way of giving “no heed.” Besides, these would-be lodgers are actually barbarians who, if admitted, can be evicted only with great trauma."
