Elder James E. Talmage wrote: “No pang that is suffered by man or woman upon the earth will be without its compensating effect … if it be met with patience.”

I found this quote while reading the Spencer W. Kimball manual. I liked it so much I decided to share.

I think this applies directly to all the sisters out there who suffer the "pang" of their husband's sexual addictions. I hope and I pray that my wife's patience will be rewarded. I hope that reward is as strong or stronger than the suffering she has endured due to my bad choices.

I hope all the sisters who are struggling with the effects of their husband's addictions may be rewarded for their patience.

"Are you battling a demon of addiction—tobacco or drugs, or the pernicious contemporary plague of ography? Whatever other steps you may need to take to resolve these concerns, come first to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Trust in heaven’s promises. In that regard Alma's testimony is my testimony: "I do know," he says, "that whosoever shall put their trust in God shall be supported in their trials, and their troubles, and their afflictions."
