is it possible that when you sin blessing are with held and if they are how do you get them back?

Comments:

God's love is greater than our shortcomings
"If God withholds a blessing, it is for our benefit. The thing with God is that He keeps His covenants. Always. A covenant is different than a contract. A contract is when each person agrees in a way that limits their own liability and fulfills their own desires. It's about each person getting what they want. A covenant is when each person makes the other person's cause their own. It's about each person making sure the other one is satisfied. So God doesn't say I get this if you do this, you get that if I do this. God says I want to bless you. And we say I want to glorify and serve You.

God keeps His end. He always has our best interest in heart. It is us that doesn't always have Him in our heart.

So does God withhold blessings? Yes. But it is for our good. God is always good. Crazy huh?

How do we get those blessings? I don't know. Ask Him. Pray. Serve Him. And He'll give you what you need. It just might not be what you ask for."

"Nothing is beyond [Christ’s] redeeming reach or His encircling empathy. Therefore, we should not complain about our own life’s not being a rose garden when we remember who wore the crown of thorns! Having bled at every pore, how red His raiment must have been in Gethsemane, how crimson that cloak! No wonder, when Christ comes in power and glory, that He will come in reminding red attire, signifying not only the winepress of wrath, but also to bring to our remembrance how He suffered for each of us in Gethsemane and on Calvary!"
