My name is pat. I never thought I would get where I am today with the savior. I had a month clean but I relized that I screwed up and it's up to me to fix it. I struggled with friends people I thought were weren't postive and nagtive. Thing I thought would get better turn worse. I know prayer is there but my faith feels I hit the celing. The people who has helped me tells me I got go get a job that what the bishop want to. And one left me and the only thing I have is the savior. But I feel I am running out of faith and hope.

Amen to this one...
""I know prayer is there but my faith feels I hit the celing."

Wow, can I relate to this. I have found myself working so hard on my own, and trying to do better. I have come to realize lately that I am useless on my own. I can't fight off Satan's influence by myself. With his help, I know I can do better, and pull myself out of the hole I dug myself into. I know we all can do better, Pattycake, and that means you too. :) Keep your head up high."

Running out of Faith & Hope
"Running out of faith & hope,

Of course not! Without those things, there is nothing to work for! There would be nothing worth fighting over. The battlefield you are crossing is worth crossing because you are hoping and can see the promised land on the other side...

But I wish you could reflect a moment on who has promised to fight battles for you. Pick the important battles for each day and take care of business!

Jacob 6:7
""For behold after ye have been nourished by the good word of God all the day long, will ye bring forth evil fruit, that ye must be hewn down and cast into the fire.""

The Lord is your Best Friend!
"Rev 3:20 "Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door; I will come into him and eat with him, and he with me."

John 15:13 " Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends."

John 15:15 " No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you."

Mathew 28:20 " I am with you always, till the end of the age."

Proverbs 3" 5-6 " Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

The Lord Loves you with all his heart! You are not alone as you have the GREATEST friend ever! His name is Jesus Christ!"

"Just as the landfill requires dedicated work and attention, laboriously applying layer after layer of fill to reclaim the low-lying ground, our lives also require the same vigilance, continually applying layer after layer of the healing gift of repentance.…Our Father in Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ, feel sorrow when we choose to remain in sin, when the gift of repentance made possible through the Atonement can clean, reclaim, and sanctify our lives. When we gratefully accept and use this precious gift, we can enjoy the beauty and usefulness of our lives... "
