I'm thankful for the Plan of Happiness. I'm thankful for God's hand in my life. For the roads he's led me to, the friends that he's put in my path, the family I was born into, the trials I was given, the opportunities to grow and improve. I'm thankful for the Atonement and my Savior Jesus Christ. I'm thankful. I'm thankful that even in the hardest of times, the darkest of our days, that we still have so much to be thankful for. I'm thankful for hope.

"Beautiful thoughts. I challenged a Sunday School class to once a month give a prayer of pure gratitude (I suggested Fast Sunday). It's amazing how long your prayer becomes when you really start thinking of all the things you are grateful for. Once you start, you can't seem to stop. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on thankfulness.

P.S. To all of you who have posted on this site and who have shared your thoughts and feelings: I thank the Lord for you. You have helped me tremendously in my struggles."

"Lucifer will do all in his power to keep you captive. You are familiar with his strategy. He whispers: “No one will ever know.” “Just one more time.” “You can’t change; you have tried before and failed.” “It’s too late; you’ve gone too far.” Don’t let him discourage you. When you take the path that climbs, that harder path of the Savior, there are rewards along the way. When you do something right, when you resist temptation, when you meet a goal, you will feel very good about it. It is a very different kind of feeling than you have when you violate commandments—an altogether different feeling. It brings a measure of peace and comfort and provides encouragement to press on. "
