When you want to do better....

I have noticed that when you decide to not do it anymore....Then the temptations are 10 times harder..Since Wed. of this week...I have done really well, I have been on the computer long enough to read my emails and look at this blog. Then I get off and walk away. I have done a lot of fishing this week to get away as well.

I have been listening to a lot of LDS pod casts, and try to keep my thoughts where they should be.

I know I can do this..and more importantly I want to do this..I want to be free of this addiction and move on with my life..

Something that helps me...
"Something that has helped me is making my computer background a picture of a temple. While it won't stop me if I get on the computer with bad intent, it does help to keep my mind focused and my thoughts pure when I have to be on it for something else."

" Is it possible to reclaim a life that through reckless abandon has become so strewn with garbage that it appears that the person is unforgivable? Or what about the one who is making an honest effort but has fallen back into sin so many times that he feels that there is no possible way to break the seemingly endless pattern? Or what about the person who has changed his life but just can't forgive himself? The Atonement of Jesus Christ is available to each of us. His Atonement is infinite. It applies to everyone, even you. It can clean, reclaim, and sanctify even you. That is what infinite means—total, complete, all, forever. "
