Sweet Hour of Prayer : 1 — Sweet hour of prayer! Sweet hour of prayer!
That calls me from a world of care
And bids me at my Father's throne
Make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
My soul has often found relief
And oft escaped the tempter's snare
By thy return, sweet hour of prayer!
And oft escaped the tempter's snare
By thy return, sweet hour of prayer!

Sweet Hour of Prayer : 2 — Sweet hour of prayer! Sweet hour of prayer!
Thy wings shall my petition bear
To him whose truth and faithfulness
Engage the waiting soul to bless.
And since he bids me seek his face,
Believe his word, and trust his grace,
I'll cast on him my ev'ry care
And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!
I'll cast on him my ev'ry care
And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!

I belonged to this blog a long time ago and got busy and so now I am back online.
I am a mom of 3. I have a husband that I don't understand. He does have an addiction that he says he has taken care of- never has gone to any therapy or priesthood to take care of it. He is also biopolar
I understand that porn is a sign of the times. I know that its a huge stumbling block. I have such a hard time with how it effects my children and my relationship. I am a very sheltered Molly Mormon girl so being thrown into all this 8 years ago- still boggles my mind.
Recently I separated from my husband and was totally ready for divorce. Then I felt like I needed to give him another chance. My family thinks I am crazy. Its all so confusing.

Hang in there
"Follow the Lord. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks, even family.

Beware of being decieved. Be sure you have fasted, prayed, and recieved a powerful witness. Addicts can beg their way back in and gain unearned trust easily. He must be clean and doing everything possible.

I hope the condition to lettng him back in, is that he is in active recovery. Otherwise the problem and lies continue and actually get worse.

Be strong. This is your decision and I would ask your family to respect you.

Do you have Boundaries?"

Defenately give him a chance!
"Please learn what you can about boundaries. If you go to the womens (spouses) side there are some discussions there that will give you more validation and hopefuly help you. Yours is a righteous cause and your Heavenly Father and the host of Heaven and your Savior and Jesus Chirst will be in your corner. You have to fight the battle. Take actions to protect your children and have the home that you deserve, the one a daughter of God would feel safe in.

Prayers to you,"

"By emulating the Master, who endured temptations but “gave no heed unto them,” we, too, can live in a world filled with temptations “such as [are] common to man”. Of course Jesus noticed the tremendous temptations that came to him, but He did not process and reprocess them. Instead, He rejected them promptly. If we entertain temptations, soon they begin entertaining us! Turning these unwanted lodgers away at the doorstep of the mind is one way of giving “no heed.” Besides, these would-be lodgers are actually barbarians who, if admitted, can be evicted only with great trauma."
