Focus on the solution

I am Loren and I’m a son of God.

I am addicted to every manifestation of Lust that I can conceive of.

I tried this week to solve my own problems, on my own, based on all of the reading I have done and personal counseling I have gone through. But, I failed miserably.
God helped me pick up the pieces yesterday and I wept as I humbly asked Him if He would let me back in. His response was an overwhelming outpouring of love. It is as if He ran from afar off to greet me, fell on my neck and kissed me. He then clothed me in His robe of righteousness and shod my feet with the shoes of the gospel of everlasting peace.

In a long session of prayer to the Father, meditation, and conversation with my Savior, I performed anew steps 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7. It is great to be back. He told me that I am blessed because I mourn, and that I will be comforted. He told me that I am blessed because I now hunger and thirst after righteousness, and I will be filled with the Holy Ghost. I remember the scripture in Revelations that says Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

I love all of you. You are in my daily prayers.

You are worth it.

A long session of prayer
"a long Session of prayer is one of my favorite things to do...

the devil tries all sorts of tricks to try and distract me from long sessions of prayer... but it's always great when I do it... and always have been amazed at how powerful the results of those praying sessions are. (compared to some of my other measly attempts)

I think it says in the Bible dictionary that Prayer is WORK.

sometimes I just like to thank him... though.. and that doesn't seem like work at all."

"Develop discipline of self so that, more and more, you do not have to decide and redecide what you will do when you are confronted with the same temptation time and time again. You need only to decide some things once. How great a blessing it is to be free of agonizing over and over again regarding a temptation. "
