Thank you, hero, for your timely counsel to me! I have tried many things to overcome the fear, anger, hurt, sorrow, worry, and shame that comes with living with an addict. Your advice to have a Jesus Box has been life-changing for me. I poured out my heart in prayer and asked him to hold these things for me. Every day, when faced with doubt, I say to myself, "Jesus is carrying that for me." I thank God in all my prayers for the box that Jesus is holding for me.

My Box is now a TRUNK! :-D
"So glad that you found this recovery tool helpful. It is amazing! Our Savior, his atonement, this beautiful endowment of love and sacrifice. Always there for us, anytime, anywhere. We just have to accept the gift.
That is why I call the 12 steps the "Atonement in Action Award"!
Love to you Sister and I am so glad you have found hope and healing with other Sisters who have walked a similar path.
Prayers and Love,"

"In a decaying environment, the mind is the last redoubt of righteousness, and it must be preserved even amid bombardment by evil stimuli. Christ is competent to see us through, “for in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted” As promised, He will make either “a way to escape” or a way “to bear it”."
