I need a place to store my favorite articles and conference talks - or even quotes, etc. There are some that are just classics to me, and I don't have any central place to write them down. So I'll put a few here and add more later.

"Candle of the Lord" - Boyd K. Packer, Ensign Jan. 1983
Describing how salt tastes, walking to the edge of the light and stepping into the darkness, don't talk lightly of spiritual experiences, gaining testimony through sharing it.

"The Tender Mercies of the Lord" - David A. Bednar, Ensign, May 2005
Do not occur by coincidence - the Lord's timing - To choose the Lord, and to be chosen

"Beware of Pride" - Ezra Taft Benson, Ensign, May 1989
Best commentary on pride ever. Period.

"Spiritual Crocodiles" - Boyd K. Packer, Ensign May 1976
A neat and poignant analogy - there is also a church movie on this, which I must have watched 273 times on my mission

"Miracles of the Restoration" - Jeffery R. Holland, Nov 1994
I was on my mission when Elder Holland gave this, his first conference address as an apostle. I think that listening to it, his conviction and emotion were what most impressed me.

"Born of God" - Ezra taft Benson, Ensign, Nov 1985
Many people have predetermined associations with the phrase: "Born Again." This article describes what it truly means to be "born again." Someone in a recovery meeting once introduced themselves as a "born-again mormon." I like that phrase. This article also contains one of my favorite quotes:
"The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in. The world would take people out of the slums. Christ takes the slums out of people, and then they take themselves out of the slums. The world would mold men by changing their environment. Christ changes men, who then change their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature."

Shayne M. Bowen, Ensign, Nov 2006
Don't dig up old garbage - landfill reclaimed and turned into beautiful areas

"I need not define your specific problem to help you overcome it. It doesn’t matter what it is. If it violates the commandments of the Lord, it comes from Satan, and the Lord can overcome all of Satan’s influence through your application of righteous principles. Please understand that the way back is not as hard as it seems to you now. Satan wants you to think that it is impossible. That is not true. The Savior gave His life so that you can completely overcome the challenges you face. "

— Richard G. Scott
